  Brown Memorial Park Avenue in Bolton Hill is a beautiful church with gorgeous Tiffany stained glass windows (unusual in a Presbyterian Church). The worship space has wooden pews with cushions, and in one transept is a labyrinth; in the other a columbarium. Most importantly, the congregation is welcoming and friendly without being "pushy," the pastors inspiring and caring, and the mission interests have a social justice focus. The church is inclusive - all are truly welcome. Services are at 11am every Sunday; in the Summer they are at 10am. There are many programs for children and adults on Sunday and during the week, and there is something for families, elderly, and singles alike!

  This is a wonderful, inclusive church with a strong commitment to social justice here in Baltimore and beyond. Its commitment is palpable from the pulpit to the pews; you can hear it in the outstanding preaching of its pastors and see it in the actions of its members. It's also a warm and inviting church; I felt like I was home from the very first service I attended. Come here to be welcomed, challenged, and inspired all at the same time.

  Brown Memorial is a vibrant, welcoming faith community. The preaching, music, and worship space are spectacular. The congregation is diverse and growing, with a number of young families and a strong youth program. We feel blessed to have found Brown Memorial.

  Going to church here is spiritually fulfilling and intellectually engaging. Inclusive church where anyone can worship. I was married here and had a wonderful experience planning and during the service. Not only is there world-class organ music, the stained glass is stunning.

  Brown is an inclusive, welcoming, progressive community that still values traditional sacred music and liturgy. I find that combination very appealing. The space is beautiful, as others have noted. On Sunday mornings the sun comes streaming through two of the largest windows that the Tiffany studio ever created. I appreciate the diversity of the vibrant congregation and the way that everyone is encouraged to ask questions. The preaching is some of the best you will ever hear, and the music inspires me every week.
