  My husband and I have never in the 15 years we have been together needed help from others. We have always faithfully given. But we have been both laid off since November. This church and their food pantry have helped us in so many ways. It has taught me how to stop taking food for granite and just throwing leftovers away. Not to over-cook. I have also learned how to make a sack of potatoes into soup, home-made fries...you name it. I no longer take things for granite. The Lord giveith and the Lord taketh away. I hope the folks who run the pantry know how much they are helping. It might not be tomorrow, or next month... but I have promised myself that when I get back on my feet I will definitely give back.
