  • I love all the ways the church touches lives in the community through festivals, block parties, children's ministries, and the "A Can Can Make A Difference" food ministry. The love, care and prayer for one another is awesome. When my family had a death, we were overwhelmed by the love others showed through giving meals, cards, flowers, prayers and encouraging words.

  • Every time I go here I know I am challenged to not just read the bible but to live it out, to truly trust God, and to not be a Luke-warm christian. I am encouraged to go and read the word for myself and develop a relationship with God personally not just by coming to church on Sunday via the pastor ,but everyday through prayer and reading the bible. I also enjoy serving those in need and the family that is here.

I went there once and did not like how the pastor kept talking about voting for Trump, and how much money was given that day and that it was very little and that people should give more. I walked out of the church early because my heart was getting heavy. I was doing spiritual warfare the whole time I was there. I thought it was time I left. God should be the focus, not the money, not the pastor.

Read a book on the Tithe - The Tithe that Binds by Roy Moore. A pdf copy is available online. The book was written after a study of the scripture and seeking the Leading of The Lord.

The teaching that you have to tithe to a particular place if you are being "fed" there is a man made concept that is against the scripture. Paul says in 1Corinthians 9:18 that he made the gospel of no expense to believers. He also said that he does not burden believers with monetary demands but worked to provide for himself. He lived by faith - 2Thessalonians 3:7-9.

It is a blessing to give to The Lord and the tithe would be what those who were yet to be Sons under the Law were required to give. With that understanding you should be free to give your tithe or whatever amount or whatever to The Lord - as His Son building His Kingdom on this earth to in OBEDIENCE to Him alone.

THE TITHE BELONGS TO THE LORD and is a manifestation of your heart of Love for Him and to support His work by keeping it aside out of your income while recognizing that you could give more than your Tithe if He leads you as all that you have is His as all that He has is yours. Jesus was our example. He said all that The Father has is mine.

Do not believe these recent positive reviews. These people were told by the Rock City Church administration to write these reviews and give a 5-star rating in order to counteract some of its negative reviews, so that when people search the Church on the Google, it's the positive reviews that people see first and not the negative ones. A review is supposed to provide a comprehensive look into the church, not just the positive stuff. I'm not saying you shouldn't check out this church, just don't do it based off of these recent positive reviews. The church does do great worship and prayer, and Bishop Bart Pierce sometimes has some great sermons, but the church also has a lot of significant faults that the administration adamantly refuses to address, which is why people keep leaving. If you are a new believer, someone looking for a spiritual mentor, or a Christian who believes that community is an important aspect of our faith, then this is not the church for you.
